Michelangelo Barbetti

Michelangelo Barbetti is an energetic, goal-driven individual with a strong focus on business and problem-solving.

He currently holds the position of Principal at CIO Advisory - Infosys Consulting and is certified as an ISO27001 and ISO22301 Lead Auditor, CISA, and CISM.

His expertise lies in leading teams in areas such as Cybersecurity strategy and transformation, maturity assessments, IT Risk & Governance, IT Security Compliance (including ISO27001, GDPR, NIST CSF & Special publications), and IT Audit for financial reporting.

Michelangelo's educational background includes studying Internet Science and Computer Science, culminating in a Bachelor's degree from Università di Bologna.

His professional experience spans across various roles and organizations, including his current role at Infosys Consulting as a Principal in Business consulting.

Prior to his current position, he served as the Information Security Integration Manager at JTI (Japan Tobacco International), Manager in Cybersecurity at PwC Polska, and held various roles at PwC Italy in IT Risk & Compliance.

Before his tenure at PwC, Michelangelo started his career with an internship in the Video on Demand Section at Grupa Onet.pl SA and worked as a Game Designer and CMS Programmer as a self-employed individual.
