Michel Simons

Michel Simons is a seasoned professional with a strong background in finance and entrepreneurship.

With a focus on (pre) seed financing for Dutch b2b companies, Michel looks for businesses with unique IP and a dedicated team.

He is currently serving as the Fund Manager and Investor at Vectrix - NextStage Early Stage Fund.

Prior to his current role, Michel was a Co-Founder and managing partner at Vectrix, where he honed his expertise in investment strategies.

Before his ventures in the private sector, he worked as a Consultant for software and tech companies at PricewaterhouseCoopers, gaining valuable insights into the industry.

Michel also contributed his skills in financing innovation and SMEs during his tenure at the European Commission in Brussels.

His academic journey includes a diverse range of degrees such as MSc - drs in social science from the University of Amsterdam, MPA in European Public Administration from Erasmushogeschool Brussel, MSc - drs in theoretical part of Public Administration from the University of Twente, and a BA in Public Administration from Thorbecke Academie.
