Michel de Spot

Michel de Spot is a versatile professional with a strong background in Engineering, holding a degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering from Universite catholique de Louvain and having studied at st-michel College Brussels.

With a wealth of experience in the field, Michel de Spot has held several key positions in various organizations. He currently serves as the President and CEO of EcoSmart Foundation, leading initiatives in sustainability and environmental conservation.

Prior to his current role, Michel de Spot worked as a Senior Engineer at Metro Vancouver (formerly GVRD) and as the Director of Engineering at Rescan Environmental Services Ltd.

His diverse professional journey also includes leadership roles such as General Manager at ASYST, Project Manager at PBK Engineering, Field Engineer at Hamon Research-Cottrell, Project Manager at SORCA, and Project Manager at OSE Inc.

In addition to his corporate roles, Michel de Spot has also shared his knowledge and expertise as a Lecturer at the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium, showcasing his commitment to education and knowledge dissemination.
