Michael Zezas, CFA

Michael Zezas is the Global Head of Fixed Income Research at Morgan Stanley. He joined the firm in 2007 as a credit analyst and portfolio manager, focusing on municipal and corporate bonds.2 Zezas has held several leadership roles at Morgan Stanley, including:

• Managing Director: Global Head of Fixed-Income Research (March 2023 - Present)1
• Managing Director: Head of Global Thematic Research & Macro Product (September 2022 - March 2023)1
• Managing Director: Fixed-Income Strategist; Head of US Public Policy & Municipal Credit Strategy (January 2010 - September 2022)1

In his current role as Global Head of Fixed Income Research, Zezas leads the firm's market strategy research effort globally in thematics and public policy, managing the overall macro research product.1

Zezas specializes in fixed-income market forecasting, credit and trading strategy, US public policy analysis & forecasting, and municipal and corporate credit analysis/modeling.1 He is a CFA charterholder and has been a member of Institutional Investor's All-America Fixed Income Research Team since 2013.13

Zezas holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Economy and History from Georgetown University and a Master of Public Administration from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin.2
