Michael Woomer

Michael Woomer is a seasoned retirement plan professional who works in the financial services industry. He graduated from the University of Dayton in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government, along with minors in Marketing (sales-oriented) and Sustainability, Energy, and Environment. Michael has built a reputation as a goal-driven leader and team player with comprehensive knowledge of the Defined Contribution/Defined Benefit markets. He presently serves as a Business Development Director at John Hancock Retirement, where he assists financial advisors in the Maryland, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania markets to achieve their retirement goals.

Michael's primary aim is to help create positive retirement experiences for businesses and their employees. He has worked in different roles, such as an Internal Sales Consultant and Mutual Fund Service Specialist at Pioneer Investments, a Senior Associate at Mosaic Research Management, and more. Apart from his professional achievements, Michael enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, and playing hockey.
