User experience designer

As a product designer for Atheneum I am responsible for overseeing all design aspects across the suite of products. My responsibilities include managing the full design life cycle, from research and discovery to testing and validation. With my extensive experience in this field, I am dedicated to delivering a product that meets both the needs of the business and the intended user.

I am also driving the creation and implementation of the Atheneum design system 'Core', to help ensure a consistent experience across all products within Atheneum.

UX designer working as part of the wider UXD team for the Times. Working primarily on the Times app and also the sub-brands of the Times, Money Mentor, and Times Literary Supplement.

Working as part of the in-house design team, I am responsible for the subscriptions side of the The Times. 

Duties include research, analysis, wireframing, prototyping and user testing and reporting. With the goal of improving the end to end journey for visitors who arrive at the website and proceed to purchase a subscription with the Times.

Working on the Jaguar and Land Rover website redesign, which consists of sites spanning across 27 different markets.

My role sees me responsible for managing the UX responsibilities and recommendations for a wide range of projects. I work collaboratively alongside the design and development teams at  Dam for a variety of clients including Marie Curie, Cosmos tours and Crisis. 

With every project i strive to keep to a consistent approach beginning with research, discovery and planning, followed by idea generation, prototyping and testing.

Working as part of the product team for Reed.co.uk. Managing both the UX and UI for the courses side of the business. 

The UX side of my role involves undertaking research, user journey mapping, writing user test scripts, managing user test sessions with recruited participants and completing overviews from those sessions. 

The UI side of my role involves producing prototypes for new features which after iterations and testing are worked into complete visual designs for implementation. 

I am lucky to work closely alongside the UX, UI and development teams to continue to learn and helping me to continue to develop as a designer.

Simplifydigital is technology business that develops deal comparison SaaS for its own branded retail business and numerous other blue-chip clients across Europe, including: Carphone Warehouse, Sky, TalkTalk, MSN, Comparethemarket, DMGT, Numericable and the Guardian Media Group.

As the sole digital designer my role includes:

Working within multi-disciplinary teams in an agile development environment, producing cross platform visual designs for internal and external business stakeholders. Also planning the user journey and creating wireframes for new projects (Axure) for testing and presenting to business stakeholders.

Inhouse sole designer for City and Islington college. 

Whilst working at the college I produced a range of online and offline materials including email templates, branding and also creating style guidlines for new areas of the business.
