Michael Wallander

Michael Wallander is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in law, finance, and sustainability.

He holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he also studied for an LL.M., with distinction, in Securities & Financial Regulation at Georgetown University Law Center.

Wallander also pursued his passion for humanities by attaining a B.A. in English with a Minor in History from the University of Florida.

His professional journey includes roles such as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Solar Finance at Petros Energy Solutions, Founder & President of De-Meter, and Co-Founder & Principal at EcoCity Partners, L3C.

With a legal background, Wallander has worked as an Attorney at Sustainable Law Counsel, P.A., has been a Partner at Carolina Solar Farms, and gained experience as an Attorney at Greenberg Traurig, LLP.

His early career included an internship at the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC), providing him with valuable insights into regulatory matters.
