Michael Wall is a Professor of Practice in Marketing & Entrepreneurship at the Olin Business School, Washington University in St. Louis, where he has been serving since September 2017. In this role, he teaches courses focused on new product innovation and data-driven marketing across various programs including BSBA, MBA, PMBA, EMBA, and Specialized Masters in Customer Analytics. Additionally, he holds positions as the Academic Director of the Marketing Platform, Co-Director of the Center for Analytics and Business Insights, and serves as a Faculty Advisor for the Center for Experiential Learning.1
Before his tenure at Washington University, Wall was the Vice President of Digital Strategy & Solutions Architecture at Rise Interactive, a digital marketing agency, from June 2013 to September 2017. He also worked as the Director of Strategy & Business Development at PointDrive, which was acquired by LinkedIn during his time there.1
Wall holds a B.A. in Speech & Communications from Indiana University Bloomington (1997-2001) and has received multiple awards for his teaching excellence, including the Reid Teaching Award and recognition as one of the Poets & Quants Favorite Professors for the MBA Class of 2023.1
