Michael Vössing is a postdoctoral researcher at the Karlsruhe Service Research Institute (KSRI) specializing in machine learning, digital transformation, digital service innovation, and project management.
He has a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and has been funded through research grants from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi).
Michael focuses on developing information systems that enhance collaboration between humans and computers, particularly in the realm of Artificial Intelligence.
Passionate about applying quantitative methods such as Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in human-centered innovation projects like Design Thinking, Michael aims to address complex challenges in business and research.
He has an extensive background in developing and evaluating Proof of Concepts for companies, many of which have led to the creation of new products and services.
Michael's educational journey includes pursuing a Dr.-Ing. (PhD Equivalent) at Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT), participating in the Erasmus+ Program at Kungliga Tekniska högskolan, and studying in the Ontario/Baden-Württemberg Program at Western University.
He has also achieved a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
With experience working as a Data Scientist and formerly as an Artificial Intelligence Consultant at IBM, Michael has also served as a Research Group Lead at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
