Michael Veh is a highly experienced policy developer and strategic planner, with a passion for promoting workforce development and supporting business growth. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Michigan State University, and a Master of Public Administration from Bowling Green State University, Veh started his career as a journalist before moving into operations, executive recruitment, and community engagement roles. He has served as Deputy Director for Policy at the Lucas County Department of Planning & Development, and previously worked in several senior positions within the same department, including Director of Business and Workforce Services, Senior Manager of Special Projects, and Workforce Development Manager. Veh has also lent his expertise to the University of Toledo/Bowling Green State University as a Community Engagement Consultant and was Vice President of Operations at Island Communications. In addition to these roles, he has served as President/CEO of the Information Technology Alliance of NW Ohio and Associate Director of Cooperative Education & Placement at The College of Engineering, The University of Toledo.
