Michael Tucker

Michael Tucker is a Baltimore native with a strong foothold in the West Los Angeles community. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration specializing in Organization and Venture Management from Emory University's Goizueta Business School. Additionally, he studied for his GED at The Park School of Baltimore.

Throughout his career, Michael has been involved in various organizations and roles, showcasing his diverse skill set. He is a former Founder of Hook Logistics, Hook Holdings, and Diamond Hook Media. Moreover, he has served in key positions such as CFO, Board Advisor, Venture Partner, Operations Director, and Account Executive at different companies and ventures.

Michael Tucker's professional journey includes experience as a Fellow at Venture For America, a Legislative Intern for Senator Benjamin Cardin at the United States Senate, and roles in diverse areas like media, logistics, and business development. His entrepreneurial spirit is evident in his past roles as CEO and Founder of Mike for Hire, Buyer at Belltower Books LLC, and Mini Regional Director as well as Campus Captain at the same organization.

In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Michael has been actively involved in the startup ecosystem as a Board Advisor at Baltimore Angels and has brought his expertise to Mavin Ventures as a Venture Partner. He has also gained valuable experience in sales and operations during his tenure at Everseat and WorkShop Development, respectively.
