Michael Steinmann

Michael Steinmann is an experienced Chief Commercial Officer, Entrepreneur, and the current Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Builders, a leading startup studio and venture builder in The Netherlands. He has a strong background in community building, new venture creation, and scaling teams in hyper-growth startup and scale-up companies. Michael has deep knowledge about ed-tech, prop-tech, SaaS, and online marketplaces.

He studied Media Sciences with a specialization in Media Economy at the University of Paderborn and has completed study abroad periods in International Communication at Tomas Bata University in Zlín and International Business at Jönköping University.

Michael is also passionate about coliving and community building and previously served as the Head of Partnerships and an Executive Team Member at Co-Liv, the world's largest coliving association. He also founded Coliving Rotterdam and the HOME Project at HousingAnywhere, where he served as the Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Global Partnership. Prior to this, Michael was the CEO, Americas, and Head of Global Expansion at The International Study Choice Platform and the Founder of the WISHES Project at the University of Paderborn.
