Owns and Operates Multiple Companies
Michael Silver is a Chef-Instructor at Seattle Central College, where he teaches classes in food science, bean-to-bar chocolate making, and coffee and chocolate roasting. His courses are part of the continuing education program and are recognized as Approved Programs by the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation, allowing students to earn continuing education hours.1
In addition to his teaching role, Silver is the CEO and Founder of Silver Linings, a non-profit organization focused on sustainability, food security, and providing culinary education and nutrition programs to underserved communities. He has been involved with this organization for over 25 years.1
Silver's diverse background includes experience in various fields such as culinary arts, math, music, and computer science. Before his culinary career, he held significant roles in technology companies, including Apple Computer, where he managed international software development and contributed to early internet communication technologies.1
