Michael Sick

Michael Sick is a seasoned data engineering and architecture leader with extensive experience in designing and building advanced data platforms and products. His expertise includes leading large technical teams for data architecture, engineering, BI, data science, and quality across various industries such as utilities, tax, capital markets, healthcare, and insurance.

Michael holds a B.S. in Geology and Politics from Guilford College, with a background also from Canfield High School.

His professional journey includes roles such as Former Principal Engineer in the Data Service Line, Former Director of Data Engineering & Integration, and Former Senior Enterprise Data Architect in reputable organizations like Thoughtworks, Alto, and Clorox. Additionally, he has served in leadership positions at NEW VANTAGE PARTNERS, VeriCurious, and EY.

Beyond corporate roles, Michael has founded Serene Software Inc. and held various technical positions at companies like Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, Cisco, and Sun Microsystems. He also contributed to projects at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as an Internet Developer & Geology Intern.

With a track record of successfully managing enterprise roadmaps, programs, teams, and budgets, Michael has proven his capabilities in delivering results across multiple verticals.
