Harvard Graduate, MIT PhD Student Studying Mechanisms of Aging
Michael Shadpour is a graduate student researcher at the Wyss Institute at Harvard University, working in George Church's lab. He focuses on the mechanisms of aging, longevity, and functional genomics. His current research involves investigating aging through cell engineering methods and identifying pro-longevity genes using advanced techniques like compressed sensing and functional genomics.12
Shadpour has a background in biology, having graduated from Harvard and currently pursuing his PhD at MIT. His research interests also encompass synthetic biology and systems biology.34 Prior to his work at the Wyss Institute, he was a researcher in the Amy Wagers Lab at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute, where he explored the rejuvenation of stem cells derived from aged mice.1
