Michael Scissons

Michael Scissons is a Canadian-born entrepreneur with an impressive track record in building successful internet companies. After starting his career at Facebook as the Canadian Director media sales within the Interpublic network, he went on to become the Founder and CEO of Syncapse, a social technology company acquired by Looksmart. Michael then became the Head of eCommerce at AB InBev where he led the global eCommerce businesses, launching and acquiring operations in over 10 countries. Later on, he co-founded, grew, and eventually sold Flashstock, a Content as a Service (CaaS) company, to Shutterstock. In addition, Michael is also the Founder of Careerlist and the Executive Chairman of Bansho, a knowledge-sharing platform. Michael has been recognized for his contributions in the field of entrepreneurship, receiving the Ernst and Young Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year award.
