My primary responsibilities as the Sr. Director of Demand Generation were to improve the foundation of MarTech for future company growth, reduce costs per opportunity generated, and improve channel performance across SEO, paid search, content marketing, social media marketing, nurturing and outbound. I was also responsible for marketing operations and marketing analytics and reporting.

As head of market development I am responsible for the hiring, training and ongoing improvement of the market development team. The market development team's primary responsibilities are to generate and qualify leads for the sales team and to be ambassadors of the Canvas learning platform.

Market Development Manager

I oversee a team of eleven account development managers split between higher education and K12 markets. Our team generates leads and qualifies sales opportunities for regional directors that primarily cover the US and Canada. To date our team has met 101% of our qualification goal. Advanced members of the team also close small scale deals on behalf of the region they cover. I am responsible for maintaining high performance on the team and training the team to increase our skill set and technique. Our product, Instructure's LMS Canvas, is cloud native and offered as Saas to forward thinking educational institutions looking to bring the technology tools that support their pedagogy into the future.
