Michael Rain

Michael Rain is a Lecturer in Management Communications at the Questrom School of Business, Boston University. He began this role in 2019 and focuses on leveraging storytelling and technology to enhance the understanding of diverse communities.32

In addition to his position at Boston University, Rain is also a practitioner fellow-in-residence at Harvard University, where he collaborates with the Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics and the Hutchins Center for African & African American Research.1 He is the founder of ENODI, a media and research company that addresses cultural innovations and identity issues related to immigrant backgrounds. His work has been featured in prominent outlets like NASDAQ, NBC News, and The Wall Street Journal.1

Rain is recognized as a TED speaker, with a TED Talk that has garnered over 1.3 million views and has been translated into 28 languages. This talk has been adopted as required viewing by various educational institutions for its insights on inclusivity.1 He holds an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School and a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from Columbia University, further enhancing his credentials in strategic communications and storytelling.1
