    Michael R. Britt is a highly educated professional, holding a Master of Arts in Mathematics from Stanford University, a B.A. in Mathematics from Amherst College, and a CalMath Domestic Exchange certificate from the University of California, Berkeley. He also received a Diploma with McIlvain & Hempstead Honors from Darrow School.

    Michael has a diverse professional background, having worked in various roles and organizations. He has been involved with The Nature Conservancy's Sustainable Debt Team, served as a City Debt Manager in Norfolk, VA, and held positions at Montague DeRose and Associates, LLC, where he was Vice President, Financial Advisor, and Capital Market Specialist.

    Additionally, Michael has experience in the public finance sector, having worked at Loop Capital in the Public Finance Division and Strategic Infrastructure Advisory Group. He has also contributed to academia as an Affiliate Lab Researcher at Tufts Psychology Department and as a Mathematics Fellow at the W.E.B. DuBois Scholars Institute at Princeton University.

    Furthermore, Michael has a passion for education and social justice, as evidenced by his roles as a Lead Mathematics Teacher at Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation, a Legislative Analyst Intern for Education & Child Welfare Policy under Senator John Kerry, and an Institute Scholar in Leadership, Economics, and Public Affairs at The Institute for Responsible Citizenship.

    Michael has also been actively involved in community projects, such as organizing the Springfield Homelessness Project and founding the Public Finance & Economic Policy Forum at the W.E.B DuBois Institute. He has been a Co-Conference Organizer for the National Conference on Math Education & Social Justice and has engaged in research at the Tufts Social Cognition Lab.
