Michael Pilnick is the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Executive Vice President of Global Human Resources at First Advantage, a leading global provider of technology solutions for screening, verifications, safety, and compliance related to human capital. He has held this position since March 2013, where he oversees HR functions across the Americas, EMEA, India, and APAC, and plays a key role in driving growth and innovation through strategic people strategies and systems that enhance business outcomes and employee engagement.12
Pilnick has extensive experience in various high-growth and established environments, including Fortune 500 companies and private equity-owned businesses. Before joining First Advantage, he served as CHRO at Wolters Kluwer, where he managed HR for profit centers in North America and Asia Pacific. His career also includes leadership roles at Columbia House and Accenture, where he focused on organizational design and change management.12
He holds a Bachelor of Education in Cultural Anthropology and U.S. History from the University of Arizona and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from the New School University.12 Pilnick is recognized for his contributions to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies and is actively involved in diversity and inclusion initiatives within First Advantage.2
