Michael Patterson

Michael Patterson is a highly technical Chief Information Security Officer with a background in government administration. He holds a Bachelor's degree in cyber security from Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Throughout his career, Michael has held key roles in various organizations such as Director of Security Engineering and former Director of Infrastructure & Security at Flexential. Additionally, he served as the CISO for Infrastructure & Economic Development at Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Michael's experience includes serving as the Acting Chief Information Security Officer and Deputy Chief Information Security Officer at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). He also worked in roles such as Security Engineer/Consultant, Desktop Support III, LAN & Desktop III, and IT Specialist in different organizations.

With a strong foundation in IT security, Michael has demonstrated expertise in areas such as network security, infrastructure security, and cyber defense. His diverse experience in both public and private sectors has contributed to his well-rounded skill set as a cybersecurity professional.

Currently, Michael Patterson holds the position of Director of Security Engineering at Flexential. Additionally, he is an individual who expresses his personal opinions independently of his professional affiliations.
