Michael Oyson is the Co-Founder and CEO of Skibre, a leading Mobile Esports company in Asia and an Antler portfolio company, a global startup generator and early-stage VC.
With a background as an entrepreneur and former Wall Street investment banker, Michael has experience in scaling stock trading platforms and co-founding a direct-to-consumer (D2C) athleisure company.
During his 15 years at Deutsche Bank, he held various senior positions including Head of Generalist Sales for Asia ex-Japan, Equities Sales, Global Financials Sales, ASEAN Financials Analyst, Associate Director for Research, and Philippine Economist.
Additionally, Michael served as Managing Director and Head of Equities Sales for North America at Samsung Securities NY, advising prestigious long-only institutional funds and hedge funds globally.
With expertise in investment analysis and equities sales, Michael has led significant multibillion-dollar Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) in Asia and is a CFA Charterholder.
He holds two master's degrees, an Executive MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a Master of Arts in Economics (PhD Coursework) from the UP School of Economics.
As an accomplished professional, Michael has lectured on valuation and macroeconomics and is a former national athlete who competed in equestrian at the 2010 Asian Games.
