Michael Ott

Michael Ott is a distinguished leader with a strong background in engineering, water resources, and education. With an MBA from American Public University System and a Graduate Certificate in Business Intelligence from Villanova University, Ott's expertise is grounded in strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making. He began his career in the US Army Corps of Engineers, where he held positions ranging from Engineering Technician to Chief of Navigation Program. He also served as a Program Manager and Senior Project Manager, overseeing projects' scope, budgets, schedules, and risk assessments. Beyond his government work, Ott has worked as an Adjunct Professor at several institutions, including Oregon Institute of Technology and Portland Community College. In his current position as the Oregon Water Business Group Manager at HDR, Ott drives the company's water resources strategy, building innovative teams and identifying solutions to meet clients' unique needs.
