Michael Norman is a technical leader with 20 years of experience in growing technology companies, currently serving as VP Engineering in Austin-based company DISCO.

Drawing on his vast expertise in development and leadership, Michael plays a pivotal role in building and overseeing the engineering team at DISCO, bringing to life the technical vision and creating exceptional products.

Throughout his career, Michael has held significant roles in various prominent technology firms such as RetailMeNot, Bazaarvoice, Lombardi, BorrowersFirst, eRelevance, and Trilogy Software.

He holds a BS in Computer Engineering/Computer Science from the University of Southern California and attended Iola High School for his secondary education.

With a background encompassing positions like VP Software Engineering & Product Management, Director Software Engineering, Principal Engineer, Product Designer, and Lead Architect across different organizations, Michael's professional journey is marked by consistent growth and impactful contributions.

In the past, he has also been the Founder/President/CTO of ProbuSoft, Inc., a Lead Java Architect at Sprint, a Manager & Technical Consultant at Trilogy, an Intern at the Central Intelligence Agency, and a Software Developer at both University of Southern California and Texas Instruments.
