Michael Neril

Michael Neril is the Founder and Managing Partner of Spider Capital, a venture capital firm he established in 2015. With over two decades of experience in the technology startup ecosystem, he has served in various capacities including advisor, investor, co-founder, and operator. Spider Capital focuses on partnering with innovative founders to build leading enterprise cloud software companies that are reshaping industries.15

Before founding Spider Capital, Neril co-founded the Webb Investment Network (WIN) in 2010, which was an early-stage investment vehicle led by Maynard Webb. During his tenure at WIN, he was instrumental in investing in numerous startups, particularly in the enterprise and cloud sectors.46 Neril's career began in technology investment banking during the dot-com boom, where he worked with ING Barings, advising venture-backed startups on mergers and acquisitions.13

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Tufts University and has been involved in various board roles across several companies, further showcasing his commitment to fostering startup growth and innovation.23
