He obtained his PhD in Informatik from the prestigious Technische Universität Wien and later worked with notable firms such as aaa - all about apps and Zühlke Engineering. As the CEO of eSquirrel, he is a trailblazer in the realm of educational technology, revolutionizing the way teachers, institutions, and companies approach learning and teaching.

Maurer's professional experience spans across various domains such as insurance, machine building, orthopedics, rail signaling solutions, and mobility.
