Michael Lucero

Michael Lucero is an accomplished leader in the field of business intelligence, known for his ability to build partnerships across IT and business stakeholders to develop world-class solutions that provide actionable insights to drive competitive advantages, increased profitability, and customer satisfaction. With a BBA in Finance and International Business from California State University, Fullerton, he began his career as a Sales Analyst at Kinetic Concepts and Westec Interactive before moving on to become a Financial Analyst at The Irvine Company and KBS Realty Advisors. From there, he transitioned to a Lead Data Analyst role at DIRECTV before taking on leadership roles at Cricket Wireless, AT&T, and ViaSat Inc. as Business Intelligence Manager (Marketing Analytics), Associate Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics, and Manager of Business Intelligence and Reporting respectively. Most recently, Michael is the Sr. Manager of Business Intelligence at System1, where he continues to use his expertise in cross-functional leadership, performance management, data governance, process improvement, database management systems, data warehousing, project management, agile software development methodology, data visualization, dashboards, Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, SharePoint, and Tableau Software to empower his team and develop innovative solutions.
