Michael Miguel

Michael Francis Liao Miguel is an immigration attorney with a specialization in business immigration holding a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.

Throughout his career, Michael has gained experience working in various legal settings, including as a Summer Associate at Minami Tamaki LLP, summer intern at Asian Law Alliance, and a Law Clerk for the Honorable Jon S. Tigar in the Northern District Court.

During his time in law school, he served as a part-time law clerk for an immigration firm, handling cases ranging from emerging startups to asylum/deportation issues. Additionally, Michael was actively involved in mentoring programs and law journals like the California Law Review and the Asian American Law Journal.

Before pursuing a legal career, Michael was a high school history and government teacher. He holds a Bachelor's degree in History from Pepperdine University where he graduated Cum Laude.
