Michael Levine, Senior Managing Director of Real Estate at Greystar

Michael Levine is the Senior Managing Director of Real Estate for Greystar's Active Adult Platform, where he oversees operations for their active adult communities.12 He provides operational support to the East Central and West regions and is responsible for driving operational excellence throughout the Active Adult communities.1

Before joining Greystar in 2017, Michael worked at Chelsea Senior Living for almost nine years in multiple roles overseeing operations, sales, and marketing. Prior to that, he was a Regional Manager for Sunrise Senior Living in both a sales and operations capacity.1

Under Michael's leadership, Greystar's active adult platform has grown significantly. As of 2023, they have 110 communities owned or operated in 28 states and 90 markets.3 Greystar is planning to expand beyond that and grow in the active adult sector "significantly" in 2024, potentially moving into three to four more states.3

Michael believes that the key to achieving a low average age in their communities is creating environments focused on fun and an active lifestyle.3 Greystar's active adult communities span three in-house brands - Overture and Everleigh for the high-end, and Album for the middle-market.3

With over 15 years of experience in senior living, Michael has been instrumental in Greystar's success in the active adult space. He is a Senior Managing Director based in Charleston, South Carolina.45
