Michael Lambert is an experienced educator with a passion for inspiring and engaging students in active learning environments, guiding them to find their passion. He is currently a Humanities, Media Literacy, and Big Data teacher for grades 7/8, known for his innovative teaching methodologies and dedication to building new educational platforms.
Aside from teaching, Michael Lambert is a prolific writer, having authored numerous articles for educational magazines. He is also a sought-after presenter at conferences such as EARCOS, NovemberLearning, and international schools in Asia. As an Apple Distinguished Educator since 2006, he is recognized for his contributions to the field of education.
Michael Lambert has served in various leadership roles, including chair/member positions on Western Accreditation Schools and Colleges throughout Asia, as well as an Advisory Board member on NMC Horizon Reports. With a vast international experience, he has worked as an educator and administrator in Texas, Saudi Arabia, and Hong Kong, showcasing his adaptability and global perspective.
Passionate about fostering student creativity and entrepreneurship, Michael Lambert has been instrumental in founding organizations like TEDxConcordiaShanghai, Shanghai Inter-Debate Association, and Shanghai Student Film Festival. He also established the Concordia Middle School Entrepreneur Club, emphasizing the importance of hands-on experiences and real-world learning opportunities for students.
Michael Lambert's dedication to integrating technology into education is evident through his leadership in technology/curriculum pilot teams and his role in creating a Video Production Studio for students. He holds a Master of Education in Administration from Lamar University and a Bachelor of Science in Education and Health and Physical Education from Northwestern State University.
