Michael Lala

Michael Lala is a writer and managing director with a background in digital media, creative production, higher education, publishing, arts, literary events, and writing/editing for various industries.
He is the author of 'Exit Theater,' which won the Colorado Prize for Poetry, along with several chapbooks and works published in numerous U.S. art and literary magazines.
Michael has presented his work at prestigious venues like the 92nd St. Y Unterberg Poetry Center, The Poetry Project, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum, and more.
He holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing with a focus on Poetry from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature/Letters from Michigan State University.
