Michael Koenig

Michael Koenig is a seasoned tech executive with years of experience growing operations and sales at various companies. He started as the Marketing Manager at OneRiot, moved on to become the Director of Business Development & Marketing at IntenseDebate.com, which was later acquired by Automattic/WordPress, where he was the Schmooze Engineer (Business Development). He was also an early employee at Automattic and held various roles in BD, ops, sales, marketing and product functions serving in the company's growth to over 250 employees across 170 locations. Additionally, he has served as the Co-Founder/CEO at Tella, Product Science Lead at FarmLogs, VP Business Development & Operations/VP Business Development at Lunar Wireless and Advisor at Apigy (acquired by Chamberlain).

Michael's educational background includes studying at Cranbrook Kingswood and obtaining a BA degree in Philosophy from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Furthermore, he is a mentor at Techstars and a guest speaker at Kellogg School of Management.

At present, Michael works as the Chief Operating Officer at Sweet, an advanced next-generation search product for businesses. He has received several accolades as a growth manager and has exceptional skills in product management, sales, marketing, operations and business development.
