Michael J. Kincart is a junior partner at Peterson & Myers, P.A. in Lakeland, with a strong focus on business law and complex commercial real estate transactions.

With over a decade of experience from private firm, in-house, and family business settings, Michael brings a unique perspective to harmonize differing views in deals.

He takes a practical, business-oriented approach to law, ensuring his clients' needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively.

Prior to joining Peterson & Myers, Michael was in-house counsel at Publix Super Markets, Inc., handling intricate transactions involving leases, acquisitions, and real estate development.

He also worked at a top national law firm, representing large corporations, real estate developers, investors, franchisees, and hospitality companies.

Michael's early legal career began at a local Lakeland law firm, where he advanced to a shareholder role, catering to developers, businesses, and entrepreneurs.

During his time in law school at Stetson University College of Law, Michael interned at a prominent environmental law firm, gaining exposure to legislative processes in Florida's capital.

Before pursuing law, Michael was involved in his family's environmental consulting business in Bartow.

He holds a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Stetson University College of Law and a BS in Finance from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business.
