Michael Kiermaier

Michael Kiermaier is a seasoned professional with a strong background in Software, Cloud services, Telecom, and network technology.

His expertise lies in areas such as product monetization, business model innovation, growth strategy, high-tech go-to-market strategies, sales, pricing, discount management, and market intelligence.

He holds a PhD in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Diplom in Physics from the Technical University of Munich, and an MA in Physics from Stony Brook University.

Kiermaier has held key roles in renowned organizations including Vice President of Business Strategy & Operations at Databricks, various positions at Google such as Senior Director of Business Planning, Commercialization, and Market Intelligence, and at McKinsey & Company where he was a Partner, Associate Partner, Engagement Manager, and Associate.

Prior to his corporate roles, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton University.
