Michael Jefferson has established himself as a leading figure in the design and customer experience industry, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Design for Bank of America's Physical and Digital portfolio. In this pivotal role, Michael oversees the envisioning and execution of customer experiences that bridge the divide between financial centers and digital tools. Prior to his tenure at Bank of America, Michael gained substantial experience in creative leadership roles at several prestigious agencies. His work at Frog, R/GA, and most recently at Fjord San Francisco showcased his ability to lead innovation programs from conception to launch. Among his notable achievements in this capacity are successful collaborations with industry giants such as Carnival Cruise Lines, Samsung, Google, AT&T, and Telstra. Through these partnerships, Michael has continually demonstrated his capacity to create impactful design solutions that resonate with users and elevate brands.

Education and Achievements
Michael's academic journey began with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he laid the foundation for his understanding of how to effectively communicate ideas through design. He continued this trajectory of growth by pursuing a Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at New York University. This program allowed him to delve deep into the intersection of technology, design, and user interaction, equipping him with the skills necessary to thrive in his subsequent career.
Throughout his career, Michael has accumulated an impressive array of leadership positions, further enhancing his credibility as a design expert. His role as Group Design Director at Fjord facilitated collaboration that transformed various products and services, while his position as the Executive Creative Director for Experience Design at R/GA cemented his ability to elevate design at a corporate scale.
