I floated to multiple surgical departments throughout the department, Endoscopy, PACU, Pre-Op, ECT, IR.I spearheaded a project that removed the current 28" monitor that were always catching and trippingthemselves. The older model was using a analog cable that displayed a 400 lines horizontally.The upgraded system, now it will display as 2096 X 1536. This will allow a much shaper, cleaner,and larger image for the providers. The old stand will be removed, and decrease the risk/hazard ofmachines on the floor. Advantages, Best image capture, Backlight built-in, Energy reduction will be over 65%, The new Digital Video Interface will also aid through its utmost reliability, and it has a failure rate of .0640. Providing a safer, clearer diagnostic image.

Friends of Freedom is a non profit resource for veterans, their families and supporters of the military. The work at Friends of Freedom is done to empower and enable veterans and their family members. We support compassion programs such as Snowball Express, that provides hope to the children of military fallen heroes who have died while on active duty since 9/11. Navy Seal Foundation, that provides tragedy assistance for families who have lost a loved one in training or combat as well as scholarships and educational assistance to active duty personnel, their spouses and children. And, Salute to the Troops for Veterans Day,this program annually since 2008 has helped over 1200 severely wounded, and stress disorder patients from Bethesda Naval Hospital, Walter Reed Hospital, Brooke Army Hospital and Balboa Rehab Facility. American Airlines generously donates chartered 757 and takes them to Las Vegas for four days of fun and respite from the rigors of in-patient care over the Veterans Day holiday.  Partnering with The Sands Corp for 3 years and now the Mirage and MGM Resorts group, we get the wounded out of the hospital for the first time since their date of being wounded (both visible wounds and emotional wounds). Friends of Freedom strongly believes in empowering our veterans to be successful in life, we do that through quarterly financial management training for them and their spouses. Career development, training, and professional certifications enable the veteran to be victorious in life post military service.
