Michael Hoeksema

Michael Hoeksema is a venture capitalist at Battery Ventures with a keen interest in software investing. He majored in economics at Amherst College and attended Choate Rosemary Hall for his high school education. Before joining Battery Ventures, Michael was a software investor at JMI Equity and a summer analyst at North Bridge Growth Equity. Michael's professional experience also includes stints as a campus ambassador for Southern Proper, a business development intern for New York Red Bulls and as Director of Sales and Customer Service at All College, Inc.

In his role as Vice President at Battery Ventures, Michael is responsible for identifying high-growth potential startups and providing investments that help them scale. He is a vocal advocate of the importance of exploring new investment opportunities and has a passion for the world of sports, particularly soccer.
