Michael Hernandez is a highly experienced educator, designer, and filmmaker who has dedicated his professional career to empowering young people and professionals to create meaningful experiences that can transform societies. With more than two decades of experience under his belt, Michael has worked with a multitude of high-profile organizations such as Google, Apple, National Geographic, PBS, and Adobe, among others, to design creative projects, develop ethical decision-making frameworks, and facilitate workshops on design thinking. He has contributed to numerous educational and artistic initiatives such as the Journalism Education Association Digital Media, El Camino College, Loyola Marymount University, and Santa Clara University, where he earned his B.A. in Communication and Studio Art. Michael is also an active member of the Bookshlf community, where he serves as the Community Lead for Education. His work has been featured in conferences like SXSW EDU, and his monthly newsletter and podcast reflect his passion for storytelling, teaching, and positively changing the world.
