Michael Herman

Michael Herman is a skilled finance and accounting veteran turned software engineer and entrepreneur. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, magna cum laude and a Bachelor's in Computer Science and Philosophy from University of Missouri-Columbia, as well as an MS in Information Science from San Jose State University. Michael's extensive professional experience has seen him take on various roles such as Founder & Senior Software Engineer at TestDriven Labs, Senior Software Engineer at Eldarion, and Software Architect at ClickFox, The Journey Company, among others. A seasoned programmer, Michael's technical expertise focuses on Python and JavaScript. He is passionate about programming, particularly in these languages, and has leveraged his interests to co-found several companies such as GoScrape, Real Python, and Starter Financial Model. Currently, Michael is a Founding Engineer at Monitaur. Additionally, Michael has a background working as a strategic consultant at Ragic, as a human resources/accounting intern at Central Missouri Community Action, and as an order management analyst at Yahoo!, among other roles.
