Michael Hendriks is a versatile professional with a diverse background in concept and business development for small F&B owners, shirtmaking, tailored clothing, publishing, and sales and marketing.
As a freelance concept and business developer, Michael assists small F&B owners in developing business models, projections, branding, concepts, and marketing strategies. He successfully launched his first project in February 2020 in Salatiga, Jawa Tenggah.
Additionally, Michael served as a shirtmaker at Nerus'ake Jakarta, offering custom-made dress shirts and batik shirts through personalized visits for measurements and fabric selections. He also founded Vanita Tailored Clothing, a made-to-measure tailor shop in The Hague, The Netherlands, which he opened in December 2009 and later sold his share in 2012.
Michael has a background in writing and publishing, notably releasing a Dutch version of Take Ivy that explores the menswear heritage of the 1960s at Ivy League universities in the USA. He became a proud citizen of Jakarta in April 2015.
