Michael Hartl

Michael Hartl is a renowned author and entrepreneur known for creating the Learn Enough to Be Dangerous platform and the popular Ruby on Rails Tutorial.

He pursued his academic interests by studying A.B. in Physics at Harvard University and later went on to complete his Ph.D. in Physics at Caltech.

With a rich professional background, Michael has held various key roles in different organizations. He is the Founder of Learn Enough and was previously the Founder of Softcover, as well as the Principal at Rails Tutorial, Insoshi, and Michael Hartl. Furthermore, he served as the Cofounder of Quark Sports and as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Instructor in Physics at the California Institute of Technology.
