Michael Guttmann

Michael Guttmann is a highly experienced process engineer with extensive knowledge of power plant and energy projects. With a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, he has worked on various technologies such as coal-fired conventional Rankine cycles, gas turbines, combined cycles, cogeneration, and concentrating solar power. With previous positions ranging from process engineer to senior process engineer, lead process engineer, and now in recent times, the overall design leader of a 140 MW combined cycle power plant, Micheal is a seasoned professional with a diverse set of skills. His duties have included designing management, supervising engineering consultants, and resolving project issues with the owner's engineers and clients. He has extensive experience in supporting different engineering and commercial disciplines, developing heat and mass balance diagrams, process flow diagrams, piping, instrumentation diagrams, equipment specifications, performing hydraulic analysis, sizing, and selecting mechanical equipment. He has also played a supporting role in permitting activities, equipment selection, bidding activities, and business development teams.
