Michael Grupp is the Co-Founder and CEO of BRYTER, a leading no-code platform designed to assist professional services in digitizing and scaling their knowledge. Background and Career
Michael began his career as a lawyer specializing in international litigation and arbitration. However, he shifted his focus from consulting to entrepreneurship. He previously founded Thesius, an academic research platform and recruiting portal, which was sold to Persona Service AG in 2017. Additionally, he established Lexalgo, a Legal Tech pioneer that was acquired by BRYTER in 2018.12
Contributions and Research
Grupp is actively involved in shaping the future of legal technology and the legal market in Europe. He serves as a member of several institutions, including the Bucerius Center on the Legal Profession at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and the Task Force Legal Tech of the Association of German Lawyers (DAV) e.V. His work focuses on decision automation, legal technology, and enterprise SaaS. He also lectures on Legal Tech and Innovation at J.W. Goethe University Frankfurt.12
