Michael Grieve is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in local government, programming, and political campaigning. He started his career in Housing at Local Government before transitioning to become a Qualified Programmer Analyst with Project Management and Microsoft Dynamics Experience Specialties. He is experienced in Microsoft RMS, SQL, Microsoft Office, Delphi, Progress 4GL. In addition to his professional experience, Michael is a passionate campaigner for patients' rights with a particular focus on Unpaid Carers and people suffering from Chronic Pain. Despite experiencing a personal tragedy, he remains committed to various social causes and serves in different organizations including Friends of the Borders General Hospital, Hawick Common Riding Committee, and Public Partnership Forum Borders NHS. Michael is also on various Cross-Party groups including the Cross Party Group on Carers, Chronic Pain and Diabetes.
