Michael Goodman serves as a member of the Board of Advisors at the Grand Canyon University Innovation Center. He is also a Staff Scientist at Vanderbilt University, where he works in the Department of Biochemistry. His research focuses on developing therapeutic agents for Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease, a genetic disorder affecting peripheral nerves.1
Goodman has an impressive academic background. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a focus on Biochemistry from the University of Kentucky, graduating cum laude. He then completed his Ph.D. in Chemistry at Vanderbilt University, defending his dissertation in March 2018. Following this, he held a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California-Davis before returning to Vanderbilt.1
