Michael Gallagher

Michael F. Gallagher is the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Corporate Risk Solutions, LLC. He is an attorney and advisor with extensive experience in enhancing business outcomes for clients.12 At CRS, Gallagher is involved in various aspects of the business, including analyzing clients' risk exposures, insurance coverage, and providing advice on claims advocacy and enterprise risk issues. He also works extensively with CRS's clients on cyber insurance and risk mitigation initiatives.2

Prior to joining CRS, Gallagher was a member of Katten Muchin Rosenman's Insurance and Risk Management practice group for 18 years. In this role, he handled complex insurance coverage and defense litigation matters, representing both policyholders and insurance companies. His areas of expertise included directors' and officers' liability, errors and omissions claims, intellectual property claims, fidelity and crime coverage, property and casualty claims, and business interruption claims.1

Gallagher's experience also includes conducting internal investigations for clients' boards of directors and independent audit committees, as well as representing international corporations in complex commercial arbitrations in the Middle East, South America, and Europe.12

Earlier in his career, Gallagher served as an assistant district attorney for Westchester County, New York.1

Regarding his education, Gallagher holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fordham University.1
