Michael Gallagher

Michael Gallagher is a highly accomplished patent attorney and litigator, specializing in biotechnology and medical device patents. With a unique background in both law and medicine, Gallagher brings extensive expertise and knowledge to his practice at Luper Neidenthal & Logan. He earned his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, and his M.D. and M.S. in Biology from Wayne State University and the University of Michigan, respectively. Gallagher began his career practicing anesthesiology and critical care medicine, before pursuing law. He has worked on a variety of international patent and trademark prosecution matters, including extensive experience with the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) procedures and the Madrid Protocol. Gallagher is a former member of the Ohio TechAngel Fund and has served as the past chair of the Small Business Council Government Advisory Committee at Columbus Chamber. He also studied LL.M. in International Intellectual Property Law at the University of South Africa.
