He has also conducted workshops on op-ed writing and taught writing, journalism, and critical thinking to diverse audiences, including undergraduates, PhD students, scholars, and Stanford MBA students.

His impressive international journalism background includes publications in reputable outlets like Newsweek, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, and The Atlantic.

Currently, Michael serves as the Associate Dean for Communications and Community Affairs at Stanford University School of Engineering, building on his previous roles at Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Center for International Security and Cooperation, among others.
