Michael FitzGerald

Michael FitzGerald is an accomplished engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in product design, marketing, and software and web development. With a keen interest in internet start-ups, Michael has dedicated his career to developing SaaS products that help SMEs be more efficient and effective in business. Michael has an impressive academic background, having studied Electronics at Waterford Institute of Technology, Industrial Design at the University of Limerick, and Engineering at National University of Ireland, Galway. He has also completed a Management Program for High Growth Internet Companies at iGAP.

Throughout his career, Michael has been heavily involved in mentoring and supporting aspiring entrepreneurs. He has mentored at Start-up Weekend Dublin and Galway, NUI Galway's ICE (Innovation Creativity & Entrepreneurship) Group students, Startx6 Incubation Centre Galway, and Start-up Bootcamp Dublin. He is also the co-founder of Bizcamp Galway, a weekend conference for entrepreneurs, and the student app-building competition, Code Ninja.

Michael's professional experience includes founding and serving as CEO of OnePageCRM, an innovative platform that helps businesses manage their customer relationship management efficiently. He is also a former board member at Galway Technology Centre and founder of PorterShed, a co-working space for startups. Michael has guest lectured at NUI Galway and worked as a senior research engineer at Bio Medical Research, part-time lecturer at Waterford Institute of Technology, and design engineer at SRAM Corporation. Before that, Michael worked as a sport science technologist at National Coaching & Training Centre, University of Limerick, and part-time 3d Arch CAD Support at CK Business Electronics.
