Michael Driscoll is the Co-Founder and CEO of Rill Data, a company focused on providing data-lake-native business intelligence solutions that facilitate the creation of fast, exploratory dashboards. He has been in this role since February 2020 and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.1
Driscoll has a rich background in technology and entrepreneurship, having co-founded several companies and served in various leadership positions. He was also a founding partner at Data Collective, a venture fund that supports entrepreneurs in the big data and IT infrastructure sectors, which has raised over $1 billion in capital.1
Before his current role, Driscoll was the General Manager at Metamarkets, a SaaS analytics platform acquired by Snap Inc. He played a crucial role in building a real-time analytics stack that processed vast amounts of data, leveraging technologies such as Kafka and Spark.1 His academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology from Boston University and an A.B. in Government from Harvard University.1
